1 Bedroom • 1 Bathroom 1 Bath • Sleeps 2-4Designer quality home with open water views is ideally located across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. From your private balcony, you can have a front row seat to Mother Nature's incredible display--sunsets that dazzle, water that sparkles, playful dolphins, soaring birds, and more! You won't find a better view any where in town.
This property is very special to its new owners and they welcome you to stay and see what they fell in love with! T
Bring your kayaks and launch at one of the favorite kayak launches in town--right across the street!
The property is nicely equipped with a kitchenette, including microwave, toaster, basic dishes and an under counter fridge for your drinks and leftovers. Coolers should not be brought into the house as the unit is carpeted. Any items brought with you and placed in fridge must be removed on departure, including condiments, ice etc.
Decorated from the owners' personal collection, this unit is not your average rental. The utmost care has gone into making this a wonderful, comfortable, stylish home away from home. You will love every special piece they have included!
When it's time to sleep, you'll be comfortable in the quality mattress and superior linens. The new pullout sofa is not those old horrible kind, but an updated, comfy version! A set of towels is provided for each person on your reservation and beach towels are provided for boat or park use (please wash and return to their cupboard).
Always sparkling clean and sanitized for your safety, we provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, as well as limited basic hand soap. We also provide starter sets of dish soap, laundry pods, dishwasher detergent, coffee, sugar and creamer, and a couple garbage bags to get you through the first day or so. Shopping is limited on the island so stop in Gainesville, Crystal River or Chiefland, depending on your entry point. We do have a small locally owned grocery, the Market at Cedar Key, which does an excellent job with meat, dry goods, personal items, and the best pizzas in town. Produce is hard here but they do provide limited amounts of that, also.
The owners use the top floor for their personal use and if you are lucky enough to have them in residence during your stay, you will love them both! Easy to talk to and just all around awesome people, you will feel right at home.
There is a house manual with guest instructions. This is a non-smoking building with NO SMOKING of any kind on the interior or exterior of the property. Smoking on the property inside or out will result in a $300 fee.
Bring your fishing poles and fish right from the rocks less than a block down the street. Redfish, shark, trout and even snook (and yes, catfish) are caught off of these rocks. Sorry, no access or fishing from the dock due to shared dock restrictions.
Don't miss out on one of the nicest rentals on the island--the premium property known as Pink Pearl!

About the Owner
Keith and Laura searched the Gulf Coast looking for the right property. They knew what they wanted but just could not find the right one. One day, their agent called and said a house was not yet on the market but it was going to suit them perfectly! They made the immediate trip to Cedar Key to check it out before it hit the market and voila! It was ideal! They sold their home out of state and furnished Pink Pearl with their own belongings. It's very important to them that this feel like home when their guests arrive and they have definitely accomplished that. They come to use the top portion of the house as often as they can. Laura and Keith hope to meet you and welcome you personally to Pink Pearl!Location
